  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher appropriate to the area of service
  • Have successfully completed eighteen (18) hours of graduate course work in the assigned

teaching discipline

  • Be registered full-time for the respective semester – nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

Duties include, but are not limited to, providing feedback and/or grading student work; monitoring/proctoring course activities; leading laboratory sessions, discussions sessions, or recitation labs; providing office hours assistance to students; and performing clerical tasks associated with course instruction.

Candidatemust be aGraduate Student in the English Program.

Candidatemusthave18 hours in Graduate English Program(preferably Rhetoric & Composition and/or Linguistics)including ENGL 6325 either prior or during the semester of apply to post.
