The Citadel offers graduate students paid assistantships that provide hands-on experience in higher education settings within various departments at an hourly rate.  Assistantships are available for enrolled graduate students who carry a minimum of six credit hours each semester. Graduate Assistants must also remain in good academic standing from semester to semester to continue an appointment. However, an appointment is not guaranteed from semester to semester. Once hired, graduate assistants work approximately 20 hours each week. These positions are all in-person roles.
