Description of Job Duties
Essential Functions:
Recruit academically and athletically capable student-athletes that mold the culture of NCC Tennis.
Travel and contact prospective student-athletes at high school, USTA, and other tennis events.
Assist in coaching at group practices, individual practices, and team matches and events.
Perform racquet stringing and other minor court and facility maintenance.

Job Qualifications
Required:
Accepted into a graduate program at North Central College.
Experience playing or coaching tennis, or athletic administrative experience.
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or eligibility to become current.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Preferred:
Experience in college athletics strongly preferred.
Aspirations to a career in college coaching preferred.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record strongly preferred.

20 hours per week during the academic year, excluding academic breaks
