Position Summary
The University of the Incarnate Word is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Athletics Facilities and Operations Graduate Assistant. The Facilities and Operations Graduate Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day facilities and operations of the Athletic Department. The position will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Administration.
This is a student position open to current UIW graduate students.
Essential Functions
  • Assist with the facility scheduling of varsity practices, games, and third party rentals.
  • Assist with the scheduling and coordinating of visiting team practices and facility needs for selected sports.
  • Assist with summer camps, including registration, financial reports, deposits, and assisting with walk-up registrations.
  • Assist with the review and reconciliation of all third party facility rental agreements and payments.
  • Assist with coordinating repairs and maintenance of all facilities equipment.

None.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with athletic game operations.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable with UIW's insurance carrier.
Work Hours
  • Monday - Friday up to 25 hours per week.
  • Some weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands
Ability to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 25 pounds waist high.
