Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, a Division I institution and member of the Southland Conference, seeks a highly motivated individual with strong graphic design skills for the full-time position of Coordinator of Graphic Design & Creative Media. The University is the only in the nation located on its own island, at the heart of the Texas Gulf Coast, and offers more than 250 days of sunshine in a city that is one of three sunniest, non-desert locations in the United States.
The position will serve as the main graphic designer and will be responsible for the visual brand of Islanders Athletics across print, digital and some audio/video platforms as well as facility graphics while supporting the marketing and communications functions of the department.

The position will serve as the main graphic designer and will be responsible for the visual brand of Islanders Athletics across print, digital and some audio/video platforms as well as facility graphics while supporting the marketing and communications functions of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize all incoming graphic requests at the direction of Assistant AD for Marketing and Assistant AD for Communications and keep yearly calendar of graphic projects.
- Create all major design projects for the department. Including but not limited to: sales collateral, schedule posters, facility graphics, digital & social ads, game program covers, promotional & video board graphics, game day content and other items as requested by the external operations department.
- Produce creative content for social media, recruiting, ticket sales, in-game promotions, and video boards
- Ensure designs reflect the unique elements of the department brand and are cohesive with all other collateral and marketing pieces.
- Lead projects from creative conception to final deliverable. Ensure University guidelines and design policies are met.
- Assist with the photography needs of the department as it relates to staff headshots, team headshots, team photos, branding photos, game day photography.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working within Intercollegiate athletics or related.
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to work nights and weekends, and travel as needed
- Self-motivated while also being team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of video production and editing
- Experience with motion graphics and photography
