TBB 122 is a community focused full service restaurant/café located in Alpharetta, GA. We are searching for motivated and passionate team members as we expand our dinner service. Shifts will typically begin from 4:00pm to close, roughly 10pm. Roles include both Server, Bartender, and opportunities to work in both positions. There is also opportunity to work our breakfast and lunch shifts should your availability allow.

In these crucial roles, front of house team members will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive an experience that makes them return again and again. At TBB 122, what you eat and where it comes from matters. For us it is fundamentally important to play a part in building and sustaining a community based on clean food that is raised with care. That is a special and critical mission, which is why we need the right people on our team at TBB122.
In this role, you are responsible for providing legendary hospitality and service to all Guests at the bar, at all times. This position is primarily responsible for greeting the Guests at the table or bar, delivering recommendations and advice to the Guest regarding our menu, accurately taking and inputting the Guest orders, maintaining the Guest space adequately, processing payment for the Guest, and concluding the Guest visit properly.

Requirements
  • Present food and beverage items quickly and accurately, with proper garnish to all Guests at all times.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all menu items, including daily specials, improve that knowledge whenever possible and strive to share that knowledge as required by the Guest.
  • Retrieve Service Bar Orders and prepare the beverages as quickly, and accurately as possible.
  • Ensure that all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Personally recognize and greet by name, the regular patrons.
  • Execute the TBB122 Steps of Service for all Guests.
  • Understand and uphold all TBB122 policies regarding Guest hospitality and safety, including Alcohol consumption, allergies, sanitation, etc.
  • Respond immediately and appropriately to any situation where the Guest perceives less than legendary service or hospitality, including involving a Manager.
  • Provide warm, friendly and efficient service and hospitality so that we are sure that the Guest will return.
  • As quickly and accurately as possible, record Guest orders at the bar, and input them in the POS system.
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation.
  • Continue to develop Salesmanship techniques
  • Accurately prepare cash-outs and other end-of-shift reports.
  • Clock in and out accurately according to your posted schedule.
  • Properly enter all drinks ordered by Guests into the POS system before serving, and track waste, breakage and spills properly.
  • Keep waste to a minimum by accurately inputting orders in the POS system, garnishing all food and beverages correctly, and preparing food items accurately during side work by following recipes and prep lists carefully.
  • Use a jigger or other measuring tools when preparing Guest beverages or drink recipes at all times.
  • Carry, stack, store and clean plates, glassware and utensils properly. Avoid unnecessary breakage, and do not carelessly throw small wares in the trash.
  • Maintain a clean bar and floor and address spills immediately.
  • Contribute to a positive, productive working environment for all team members at all times by maintaining a happy professional attitude while at work.
  • Demonstrate respect and courtesy towards all FOH, BOH and Manager teammates.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Server or Bartender in a table service restaurant
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have good working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes
  • Must possess good basic math skills, the ability to write Guest orders accurately and operate a POS system effectively
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced setting while walking or standing for up to 12 hours per day
  • Must be able to carry cases of beer, liquor or wine safely
