Position Highlights:
As the Medical Staff Coordinator, it's your responsibility for professional oversight, coordination, and implementation of the procedures for medical staff and advanced practice clinicians. Your mission is to advance the healthcare environment to maximize the patient experience through the delivery of quality services. You will accomplish this through credentialing, researching and verifying information, as well as conducting ongoing confidential peer review, while in compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.

Position Highlights:
As the Medical Staff Coordinator, it's your responsibility for professional oversight, coordination, and implementation of the procedures for medical staff and advanced practice clinicians. You will accomplish this through credentialing, researching and verifying information, as well as conducting ongoing confidential peer review, while in compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
Background/Expertise:
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred OR Four (4) years experience in a health care or administrative support setting may be considered equivalent to an Associate's Degree at the discretion of the hiring manager.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a medical related setting preferred.
- Must attain within three (3) years, and maintain, Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification unless arrangements are made otherwise with the Manager of the Medical Staff Office.
