Job description

Essential Job Functions (Dealer):

  • Deals various table games.
  • Handles currency and chips.
  • Protects bankroll.
  • Follows house rules and dealing procedures.
  • Monitors layout at all times.
  • Must have ability to meet tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Marine and/or Security departments during times of emergency or otherwise, as required of the crew of a Coast Guard certified vessel.

Essential Job Functions (Floor Supervisor):

  • Supervises dealers within designated area of pit.
  • Issues markers/credit.
  • Orders fills and credits.
  • Verifies financial transactions at table.
  • Monitors betting and playing action.
  • Arbitrates customer disputes.
  • Rates customer play.
  • Establishes customer base.

Other Job Functions: 

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
  • Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience Required: Three years prior experience as a Dealer.
  • Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Thorough knowledge of several games including at least two main games (Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, or Poker); ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.
  • Other Specialized Requirements: Ability to move around casino floor during entire shift; ability to simultaneously watch four to six tables; ability to hear all necessary dealer calls from four tables away.
