Position Overview

The Restaurant Floor Manager for Zephyr is responsible for leading all front-of-house floor operations, ensuring a seamless, elevated dining experience that reflects the sophistication and energy of Hotel Phoenix. This role is highly visible and guest-facing, requiring strong leadership presence, attention to detail, and the ability to execute service at a luxury standard.


Key Responsibilities

Floor Leadership & Service Excellence

  • Lead all floor operations during service, ensuring a smooth, polished, and well-paced dining experience
  • Maintain a constant presence on the floor, directing service flow and anticipating operational needs in real time
  • Execute pre-shift lineups, communicating service focus, reservations, VIP guests, and daily priorities
  • Ensure all service standards, sequence of service, and presentation align with Zephyrโ€™s elevated dining experience

Guest Experience

  • Deliver personalized, anticipatory service that creates memorable guest interactions
  • Proactively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty
  • Resolve guest concerns with urgency, professionalism, and discretion

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Supervise and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff throughout service
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance
  • Reinforce accountability, professionalism, and alignment with Hotel Phoenix culture
  • Partner with leadership on training, onboarding, and development of team members

Operational Execution

  • Ensure proper staffing levels and strategic floor positioning based on business demands
  • Maintain the cleanliness, ambiance, and overall presentation of the restaurant at all times
  • Collaborate closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless front- and back-of-house communication
  • Monitor service timing, table turns, and overall efficiency

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Enforce alcohol service compliance and responsible service practices
  • Uphold all Hotel Phoenix policies and procedures consistently

Qualifications
  • 2โ€“3 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in an upscale or luxury environment
  • Strong floor presence with the ability to lead high-volume service with composure and confidence
  • Exceptional guest service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
