Manager

The Range Caf is looking for managers! As a manager, you will oversee essential business duties related to the restaurant's day-to-day operations; specifically, in the areas of Hospitality, Safety, Cleanliness, kitchens, and Bar. This position ensures the shift runs efficiently, provides clear direction to hourly employees, and communicates all necessary business, employee, and guest updates to the management team during shift changes. The Leader performs standard management duties, including opening and closing a restaurant, completing employee checkouts, guest satisfaction, placing product orders, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant. This position ensures all employees adhere to company policy and standards at all times.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma is preferred. However, a combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Proficient in the following basic dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must agree to a background check and a drug test.

• Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability, and outgoing.
• Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
• Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
• Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
• Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage, and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities.
• Ability to determine the applicability of experience and qualifications of job applicants.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $25.00 - $26.00/hour.
