Director of Medical Specialties - Providence Medical Group

Providence is calling a Director of Medical Specialties - Providence Medical Group (Day-shift,1.0 FTE) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.   In this position, you will:

• Based on analysis, develop recommendations for program and service development or expansion
• Collaborate effectively across programs, hospitals and with all clinical and business divisions to develop and/or enhance programs and service delivery in a coordinated way to best serve our patients and community.
• Provide leadership for strategic planning, clinical experience, fiscal accountability, patient satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and positive relationships with other departments hospitals, physician practices and stakeholders within scope and span of control.
• Develop overall budget and targets to ensure financial performance measure are met for Providence Medical Group division
• Partner with providers to ensure presence of on-going quality improvement program by providing leadership for patient safety, quality improvement, service excellence, physician satisfaction, and program growth and development.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all key constituents

Required qualifications for this position includes:

• Bachelor's Degree in Health care, business, economics or related field
• Seven (7) years management or administrative experience in health care, preferably with integrated health delivery network.
• Solid financial background gained through both operations and strategic planning 
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Master's Degree
