Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Management team in directing daily business operations.

The On Premise Catering Director duties are to train and supervise staff, book events, and work with the chef and client on menu preparation for both small and large groups. Other responsibilities include booking events, ensuring cleanup is completed efficiently, keeping accurate records of all expenses and revenue, and ensuring compliance with food, sanitation, and environmental safety policies in kitchen operations. Qualifications to become a director of catering include an associate's or bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management or significant experience in catering and hospitality.

To be a successful manager, you should eagerly participate in educational and training opportunities. This manager must be able to motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale. A top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and extraordinary organizational skills. The management team should be firm, but also approachable.

Responsibilities:

  • Extreme Organization
  • Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
  • Follow-through on Responsibilities
  • Addressing any issues in a timely fashion.
  • Supervising staff
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Drive Sales to On Premise Bookings
  • Effectively use technology such as (Email, Organization Boards, Google Workspace)
  • General Administrative Duties
  • On-Premise Bookings (floorplans in Canva, menu design in canva, processing deosits, etc.)
  • Menu Rollout Assistance (canva/caterease)
  • CaterEase Data Projects
  • Order Check-Ins
  • Feedback Surveys (google forms/google drive)
  • Partially Lead Manager Meeting (PDOs)
  • Payment Processing
  • On-Premise Packing Lists (caterease)
  • Packing/Coordination for On-Premise Events

Requirements:

Industry Experience of at least 2 Years

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good observation skills.
  • An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
  • Computer literate and basic Math skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive/Google Calendar
  • Driven with Task List organization
