As the Real Estate Coordinator, you will assist and support multiple cross-functional teams (Facilities, Finance, Construction and Operations) in the execution of the Real Estate Strategy through lease development and with lease interpretations for all brands within the JOEY Restaurant Group. You will liaise with Landlords and Property Managers and maintain strong relationships by providing world-class customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Data entry of lease clause information and related data in real estate software program.
  • Challenge rent, invoice and chargeback discrepancies with Landlord’s as needed.
  • Drafting of general agreements and boiler plates (ie NDA’s, LOI's, OTL’s)
  • Transmission of reports and information to various departments and operations.
  • Maintain due diligence tracking for critical dates for LOI’s, offers, leases and renewals.
  • Respond to general leasing enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Provide administrative support, including typing all types of correspondence, completing reports, photocopying, scanning, taking minutes, and coordinating meetings.
  • Partnering with Finance on the payment of rent, adjustment & reconciliation payments and ensuring timely collection of all Tenant Improvement Allowances.
  • Liaise with Property Managers, store managers, and other departments and maintain strong relationships
  • Provide support to Facilities, Construction and operations with lease interpretations and liaising with Landlord’s Property Management teams for successful resolutions
  • Administrate/manage data analytics programs and sales estimation tools


Requirements

  • Experience in the Real Estate industry is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Urban Land Economics and/or related discipline
