Manager, Software Engineering
We have an opportunity for a Manager, Engineering to join our Universal Asset Insights team in Burnaby, BC, reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering. This role blends hands-on technical leadership, people management, and strategic vision to drive the innovation & development in Universal Asset Insights (UAI)
UAI provides SaaS based Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM), which includes Asset visibility & security gap analysis of On-prem & Cloud assets. UAI automates the discovery and analysis of both IP and non-IP-based assets across public clouds, on-premises networks, IoT/OT devices. UAI CAASM product integrates with Infoblox Threat Defense, CTEM & DDI Solutions.
In this technical, hands-on leadership role, you will guide a team of engineers working on the design, development, and productization of the Asset Insights Data pipeline, Reporting & Analytics engine. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will be a critical contributor to the evolution of Infoblox's next-generation security solutions. You are the ideal candidate if you are a great collaborator, strategic thinker, operate independently, and are deadline and results-driven.

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, and map the systems and stakeholders that rely on your work.
Six Months: Strengthen your technical foundation by mastering UAI, TD, CAASM & UDDI Platforms. Listen, learn, and lay the groundwork for lasting success. By the six-month mark, shift your focus toward strategic alignment. Develop a clear understanding of Infoblox's Reliability, Productivity, AI vision and roadmap and identify where your team can make the most impactful contributions. Start influencing technical direction and aligning priorities with organizational goals. This phase is about connecting the dots between your team's capabilities and the company's future, ensuring that every effort moves us closer to our AI-driven vision.
One Year: After one year, you will be a cornerstone of technical leadership within the core UAI team. Your role will expand to defining, designing, delivering, and maintaining innovative AI agentic products including developing an agentic asset insights product where autonomous agents consume asset inventory via programmatic APIs, using AI for enhanced observability, policy enforcement, and adaptive security
