Sr. Grant & Compliance Administrator (803072)

Location-  2 Gateway Center Plaza 283 Market St, Newark, NJ 07102

Duration-6 months

Pay Rate-$ 34.42/hr on W2 without benefits

work hours:7:30 am - 4:00 pm

lunch period (Unpaid): 30 minutes

JOBDESCRIPTION- Senior Grant and Compliance Administrator (Transit Funding &Compliance)

Responsibilities

  • Manage grant applications throughout the fiscal year grant cycle for transit-related projects and programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state transportation funding regulations, including FTA requirements
  • Coordinate with project managers and internal departments to obtain grant-related information and documentation
  • Navigate TrAMS and CPAS systems for grant awards, finance memos, and funding activities
  • Establish funding structures in CPAS as funding becomes available
  • Maintain and update the STIP database for grant modifications and obligations
  • Monitor fund allocations and prepare grant revisions and amendments as needed
  • Prepare and submit quarterly federal financial reports
  • Monitor compliance related to fixed assets and grant-funded programs
  • Maintain accurate grant records and supporting documentation

Qualifications

  • Experience in grant administration, compliance monitoring, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of federal and state grant regulations and funding processes
  • Experience working in a transit, transportation, or public sector environment preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
