Castaway Waterfront Restaurant & Sushi Bar is now hiring part-time OR full time Hosts/Hostesses.

Our restaurant is serving Breakfast, Lunch & Happy Hour and Dinner, serving seafood, LOTS OF SUSHI, raw bar, full liquor bar, elegant wine list and 32 beers on tap. Recently featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives, Discovery Channel, Coastal Living Magazine, Nat Geo Food Traveler and much more

Here is what you would do:

Our Host/Hostess responsibility to provide courteous and professional service by greeting guests at the Host stand, escorting them to their table, presenting menus and taking reservations.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform station opening duties,
• Check restaurant for proper set up,
• Manage floor plan by checking station chart,
• Greet and acknowledge the guest in a friendly manner immediately upon their arrival,
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, always maintaining positive guest relations,
• Take and manage reservations,
• Continuously review and manage Open Table reservation program,
• Report any problems that may occur with service or a guest complaint to management,
• Keep front entrance of restaurant and restaurant menus clean and presentable,
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your schedule will be:

• Either 6- or 8-hour shifts, both full and part time positions available
• Day shift, Night shift available,
• Weekend availability and flexibility a must
