Overview

CTG is seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Analyst.

Location: Remote
Duration: 8 months

We are seeking a Senior Epic Cadence Analyst to support an active Epic implementation while mentoring and developing the existing Cadence analyst team. This role will combine hands-on build responsibilities within Epic Cadence with leadership, guidance, and quality oversight to ensure a successful implementation.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Epic Cadence expert who brings deep scheduling workflow knowledge, strong governance discipline, and a passion for developing other analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation Leadership

  • Provide subject matter expertise for Cadence build during implementation.
  • Guide system design decisions for scheduling templates, visit types, provider records, and resource management.
  • Review and validate configuration to ensure adherence to Epic best practices.
  • Partner with project leadership to maintain implementation timelines and milestones.

Mentorship & Team Development

  • Mentor and coach current Cadence analysts on build standards, workflow design, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct build reviews and quality assurance assessments.
  • Develop internal documentation standards and knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Provide structured feedback and skill development guidance to analysts.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex scheduling build issues.

Application Build & Optimization

  • Configure and optimize scheduling templates, blocks, visit types, and rules.
  • Support multi-specialty ambulatory scheduling workflows.
  • Align scheduling build with revenue cycle requirements.
  • Design and optimize work queues and reporting related to scheduling metrics.
  • Ensure accurate integration with downstream workflows (registration, orders, billing).

Governance & Standardization

  • Support scheduling governance processes and template standardization.
  • Establish best practices for template management and change control.
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to balance access, productivity, and compliance.

Testing & Go-Live Support

  • Develop and review test scripts for scheduling workflows.
  • Lead integrated testing efforts across applications.
  • Support cutover planning and go-live readiness.
  • Provide stabilization support and issue resolution post-activation.

Background in settings that prioritize behavioral health as a core component of patient care is strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
