JP2300 – Administrative Assistant 3

Description:

The eXperience IT Division is seeking an energetic, organized, and highly motivated and reliable individual who is capable of quickly changing focus, independently make decisions, and is comfortable with a broadly defined scope of work within the XIT Division. The successful candidate will report directly to the Staff Operations Manager and will act as an interface between the group, division, and other LANL organizations and external agencies. In this position you will need to be an excellent problem-solver, team player, customer service focused.

Experience with organizing and managing meetings for both internal and external staff. Ability to coordinate logistics, scheduling and announcement of meetings and conferences. Demonstrated mentoring, teaming skills utilizing tact, diplomacy, and discretion. You must have the ability to network and work effectively with other administrators and key contacts inside and outside of the division. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary while interacting effectively with people throughout the organization. Grammatical proficiency and document formatting and editing capabilities are expected at this level. Demonstrated ability to organize; prioritize and follow-through to completion on multiple tasks, often under strict deadlines, with frequent interruptions, and changing priorities in a dynamic and fluid working environment and demonstrated record of dependability, availability, attendance, and punctuality. Computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and MS Teams.

Education:

Position requires a High School Diploma and 3 years directly related experience.
