Job description

Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of lien files which involves rating the permanent disability under the AMA guides, reviewing medical records, understanding apportionment, completing settlement documents, and resolving liens
  • Performing lien negotiations and legal representations
  • Appearing before a judge for Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Status Conferences, and Walking Thru settlements
  • Providing timely communication with clients and written summaries on a routine basis
Qualifications
  • Three years of experience working as a Hearing Representative in California Workers' Compensation Defense (Required)
  • Knowledge of CA Workers' Compensation law
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, high energy, and a sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
  • Client-focused, with the ability to deliver results
