Position Summary:                                                                                                                           

The Mobile Marketing Specialist is responsible for expanding Checkers/Rally’s product sampling of our #1 most craveable Seasoned Fries, at different events all year.  The Fry Love Express is our stunning 43’ trailer of “Fry Love” that travels round the country giving away our #1-rated craveable fries! The Fry Love Express brings the unmistakable “Fry Goodness” of Checkers & Rally’s seasoned fries to an event near you.

In this role we will be trusting you with our brand, our mobile marketing equipment, and our customers, by driving our “Fry Love Express” (FLE) to events, fairs, and festivals across America.  Our Fry Love Express events, feature free product samples of our Famous Seasoned Fries, to further build Checkers/Rally’s brand awareness and surprise and delight consumers.

Position Accountabilities:                           

To be the driver of the Fry Love Express (FLE) vehicle and be the on-site event lead for our mobile marketing events.  Key responsibilities include:

• Drive, set-up, and tear-down the FLE trailer to our approved events, as outlined on our mobile marketing event calendar.
• Be the material expert with regards to FLE vehicles, DOT rules and truck regulations.
• Proactively execute and maintain DOT trucking regulatory and reporting requirements (ELD), maintaining all safety standards and readiness for the FLE program.
• Keep the FLE trailer & truck safe, clean, well-maintained, in-compliance with regulations and delivering a positive brand image for Checkers/Rally’s.
• Proactively provide feedback on necessary FLE vehicle enhancements/fabrications needed to improve performance. Manage approved fabrications (on site) with Mobile Marketing Manager, ensuring vehicle is safe, in-compliance with DOT regulation, and within brand standards.
• Follow and maintain company operational standards for product production/cooking, storage, and inventory (in trailer), to ensure Brand & product safety standards are adhered.
• Prepare product on FLE trailer with approved brand materials, packaging, supplies and following our food-safety procedures, to ensure brand standards are met at events. 
• Clean and maintain trailer cooking equipment to brand standards.
• Responsible in coordination with the Mobile Marketing Manager, for maintaining proper storage, and security of company Mobile Marketing vehicles(s).

• Be the Brand champion and on-site lead at FLE events.  Always maintain a positive, professional attitude and wear approved attire.
• Train and manage the FLE Brand Ambassadors at events, to ensure brand standards are met and a positive, customer-centric culture is delivered.

• Always represent the brand, following our brand values and beliefs, supporting our customers, and always delivering a high quality product.
• Log number of samples given away at each event.
• Work collaboratively and partner with the Mobile Marketing Manager on a daily or semi-daily basis on event scheduling and deliver against the FLE event calendar.
• Report any vehicle or event issues and opportunities to improve FLE performance and execution, to the Mobile Marketing Manager.
• Support event contracts and commitments and provide feedback as needed to the team.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

     Education

• High School diploma or GED

     Requirements

• Current and operating class A CDL required
• 5+ years’ experience maintaining and driving large trucks & trailers,
• Clean driving, criminal, and civil record
• 2+ years’ experience executing mobile marketing events or similar activity
• Understanding of state and national commercial driving laws (including Federal/DOT)
• Professional communication skills, and ability to work within a team
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with your manager

Essential Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 50-65% of the time
• Ability to drive long distances when needed, within DOT requirements.
• Ability to drive and oversee large vehicles and trailers
• Ability to do basic and/or emergency repairs/quick fixes to vehicle(s), when needed
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds during event set-up and tear-down
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time at Events (up to 6 hours)
• Ability to work in a hot environment
• Ability to climb (on FLE trailer) and work at heights 10’ above the ground, during set-up and tear-down
