Assistant Restaurant Manager Summary/Objective:
Responsible for overseeing a diverse staff, providing quality customer service to all internal and external customers, training & executing their knowledge of an extensive regular and “limited time offer” menu in a high-volume fast food restaurant. Duties of the Assistant Manager are not limited to managing, training and executing policy and procedures but will more than occasionally involve operating an extensive point of sale register, expediting product, ensuring order accuracy, a positive guest experience and all other job duties as assigned.
Required:
6 months to 1 year of experience in a large volume fast food establishment preferred
Demonstrates ability to lead, and manage fast-paced and changing environment
Open/Flexible in availability
Preferred:
Strong PC skills are preferred
Strong communication skills
Essential Functions:

Promote, demonstrate and enforce ability to work as scheduled and report on time.
Promote, demonstrate, and lead a great customer restaurant experience.
Coach and develop restaurant employees in all aspects of the fast food experience.
Complete and follow all educational requirements of the Franchisee using the Franchise LINK™, instructor led training and workshops.
Promote, demonstrate and enforce standard operating procedures of the company.
Promote, demonstrate and enforce all guidelines in receiving inventory and proper storage and rotation of food, beverage, paper and chemicals.
Promote, demonstrate and maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in all work areas according to local and Franchise guidelines.
Able to perform product and supply inventory counting and recording in the timeframes required.
Able to schedule work shifts for team members to include coverage due to shortages.
Able to travel to other restaurants, Area Office, bank, etc. as needed.
Work Environment:
This job’s duties are performed in a high volume, fast-paced environment while performing for or working directly with the public. This role routinely uses standard restaurant equipment that include, but is not limited to, point of sale registers, headsets, beverage equipment, coolers, deep-fat fryers, and hot holding units.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires the use of hands to grasp, touch, and move objects. This position also requires standing, walking, bending, reaching above the shoulders with arms, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours:
This position regularly requires long hours on your feet, as well as, nights, weekends and holidays.
