Job description

The Commercial Excellence Specialist is responsible for supporting commercial performance initiatives by optimizing sales processes, improving operational efficiency, enhancing go-to-market execution, and driving data-informed decision-making. This role partners with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to improve commercial effectiveness, reporting, and strategic execution.

The Commercial Excellence Specialist analyzes business performance, supports process improvements, develops reporting frameworks, and contributes to revenue growth initiatives in a fully remote environment.

This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the United States. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Operations amp; Performance
Support commercial excellence initiatives focused on revenue growth and operational effectiveness
Analyze sales performance metrics, KPIs, and business trends
Develop reports, dashboards, and performance insights for leadership teams
Monitor commercial processes and recommend efficiency improvements

Sales Process Optimization
Support sales process design, standardization, and workflow improvements
Assist with forecasting, pipeline analysis, and territory planning activities
Partner with sales leadership to improve execution and performance management
Support implementation of best practices and commercial frameworks

Data Analysis amp; Reporting
Prepare performance reports, business reviews, and commercial analytics
Maintain dashboards and reporting systems
Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis activities
Translate data into actionable business recommendations

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, finance, operations, and customer teams
Support strategic initiatives and business transformation projects
Participate in process improvement and change management initiatives
Assist with training and adoption efforts related to commercial processes

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Operations, or related field required
3 years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, business analysis, revenue operations, or strategy roles
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
Experience working with business metrics and KPIs
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organizational and project coordination abilities
Advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Compensation
Annual Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000 USD, depending on experience, industry background, and commercial scope
Estimated Hourly Equivalent: $41 – $58 per hour
