Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time salary position offering excellent benefits and a great opportunity for growth with longevity.

With a weekday work week, Monday-Friday and dayshift hours. This position makes for a stable workweek for those who need to enjoy a familiar and consistent schedule.

This position requires:

  • Proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Hydraulics knowledge.
  • Materials knowledge (various metals and plastics).
  • Designing and testing new products.
  • Designing molded components.
  • Improvements to existing products
  • Sourcing parts and materials.
  • Develop BOMs.
  • Good understanding of the principles of mechanical engineering

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME).
  • Two years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics.
  • A quick learner with good communication skills.
  • A team player who is positive and motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Working with a team to achieve results.
  • Plumbing and electrical experience a plus, but not necessary.
  • Experience in electrical components, construction and/or maintenance services is preferred, but not required.

Must have:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics.
  • Experience in Materials (various metals and plastics).
