Title: Medical Biller – Full Revenue Cycle

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Compensation: $23-$28/hour depending on experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).


About the Opportunity:

Addison Group is partnering with our healthcare client to identify an experienced Medical Biller to join a growing in-house Revenue Cycle team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to contribute to the development of a newly structured billing department.

This position is onsite in Southwest Atlanta and offers long-term potential through a contract-to-hire arrangement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage professional fee and outpatient medical billing processes from start to finish
  • Review, prepare, and transmit insurance claims accurately and timely
  • Research and resolve denied or unpaid claims
  • Perform account follow-up with insurance carriers and patient accounts
  • Enter and review charges for accuracy and compliance
  • Communicate professionally with patients regarding account balances and billing questions
  • Assist with additional revenue cycle functions, including payment posting support as processes expand
  • Work within Epic EMR to navigate billing workflows and account activity

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle medical billing experience
  • Background supporting physician-side and/or outpatient billing operations
  • Experience handling claim edits, denials, appeals, and insurance follow-up
  • Knowledge of charge entry workflows and reimbursement processes
  • Hands-on experience using Epic EMR (must specify version used)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
  • Nephrology billing experience required
  • Professional demeanor with polished communication skills

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Interview Process: Virtual interview followed by onsite shadowing/final interview
  • Start Date: ASAP
