Job Summary
Aetos Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Financial Management expert to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) financial operations, audit readiness, transportation financial management, and data integrity activities. This position requires experience supporting complex financial transaction processing, reporting, system-based analysis, and compliance with regulated government processes within a controlled environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound financial and systems knowledge, and the ability to work across complex financial and operational data flows to support reporting accuracy, audit readiness, troubleshooting, and overall data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Support financial audit readiness efforts
Process, analyze, reconcile, and report financial transactions
Ensure financial data integrity across financial, transportation, and operational systems
Ensure compliance with regulated processes, procedures, and internal controls
Organize, analyze, and manage complex financial and operational data using approved software tools
Support the review and use of SOC 1 Type 2 reports within a controlled environment
Create, validate, and support DLA accrual reports
Pull and analyze high-volume system feed data in support of transportation and payment operations
Troubleshoot data flow, transaction, and payment issues using specialized system access and diagnostic capabilities
Provide insight into financial processes and data flows through specialized user access not available through standard roles
Support billing processes and general government accounting procedures
Analyze and support electronic transportation shipment transactions (EDI 858) and FACTS-related air clearance and transportation management processes
Support data integration and transaction flow across transportation, payment, and financial management systems
Requirements
Required Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

A Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
  • Financial audit readiness support for a federal or Department of War (DoW) organization
  • Processing, analyzing, reconciling, and reporting financial transactions
  • Financial data integrity, validation, and reporting
  • Applying regulated financial, operational, and internal control processes
  • Using software systems and tools to organize, manage, and analyze complex financial and operational data
  • Supporting transportation, logistics, or payment-related financial operations
  • Creating reports, accruals, or other financial management outputs
  • Supporting data flows, transaction traceability, and system-to-system reconciliation
  • Working with government accounting processes, billing procedures, or working capital fund activities
  • Troubleshooting financial transaction issues, data discrepancies, or payment-related problems
  • Supporting audit support activities, internal controls, or compliance reviews in a controlled environment
  • Working with Microsoft Windows environments and cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Azure
  • Supporting high-volume operational or financial data environments

Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to meet background investigation requirements relevant to the position, consistent with applicable laws.
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment and random drug testing, in accordance with company policy.
