Preferred Qualifications:
• Workday certifications in two or more modules, such as: Workday Integrations, Workday HCM, Workday Studio, and Workday Reporting.

Position Summary:
The Senior Workday Developer is responsible for supporting the design, development, integration, configuration, and optimization of the organization's enterprise Workday platform. This role plays a critical part in ensuring stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of Workday solutions that support HR, Finance, and business operations.
The Senior Workday Developer will serve as a technical expert responsible for delivering advanced Workday solutions including integration, reporting, analytics, custom applications, and module configuration. This position requires extensive hands-on experience across multiple Workday modules and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within the Workday ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of Workday technical experience, strong development expertise, and proven experience working in enterprise Workday environments. This role requires deep knowledge of HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Prism Analytics, Workday Extend, reporting, and integrations, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.
Candidates with technical leadership or mentoring experience will be highly valued
Essential Functions and Measurable Deliverables:
Workday Development and Configuration
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain technical solutions across the Workday platform.
• Provide hands-on support for configuration and optimization of key Workday modules including: Human Capital Management (HCM), Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, and Compensation.
• Support system configuration changes, enhancements, and ongoing platform optimization.
• Work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical Workday solutions.
• Support the configuration and maintenance of Workday Business Process Framework.
Workday Integrations Development
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and internal or external systems.
• Build and support integrations using Workday development tools including: Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Studio, REST and SOAP APIs, and Web services.
• Maintain existing integrations and resolve issues related to integration performance, data mapping, and system connectivity.
• Ensure integration reliability, performance, and scalability within enterprise environments.
• Support integrations between Workday Recruiting and third-party platforms such as Paradox conversational AI.
Reporting and Analytics
• Design and develop advanced Workday reports and dashboards to support HR, Finance, and business operations.
• Build and maintain complex calculated fields and custom reporting solutions.
• Develop enterprise reporting frameworks to support operational and executive decision-making.
• Support advanced analytics and data modeling using Workday Prism Analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements and data accuracy standards.
Troubleshooting and System Support
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to: Workday integrations, System configuration, Reporting, Data inconsistencies, and Security access.
• Investigate system errors and performance issues and provide timely resolution.
• Monitor Workday platform performance and recommend improvements for system optimization.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve functional and technical issues.
Security and Compliance
• Support the configuration and maintenance of the Workday Security Framework, including: Security groups, Domains, and Role-based access controls.
• Ensure system configurations align with organizational data security and compliance standards.
• Maintain proper access controls and governance practices across the Workday environment.
Workday Release Management
• Participate in Workday release cycles, including: Reviewing new features and enhancements, performing impact analysis, conducting testing and validation, and supporting deployment activities.
• Ensure system updates are implemented without disrupting business operations.
Technical Leadership and Collaboration
• Work closely with the Workday Architect to design, implement, and optimize technical solutions across the Workday platform.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Workday development.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Workday analysts, developers, and functional teams.
• Collaborate with HCM, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver system improvements and enhancements.
• Assist with technical documentation, system architecture discussions, and platform strategy.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for the Workday environment.
Skills and Abilities Required:
• Strong expertise in Workday integrations development: Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proven experience building advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Deep understanding of the Workday Business Process Framework.

• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
