The Workday Data Conversion and Reporting Manager leads day-to-day data conversion and reporting activities for Workday HCM and Financials implementations. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, responsible for planning and managing data conversion tasks, leading report design and development, and partnering with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality, report-ready data throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of consulting experience
  • 5+ years of overall data conversion experience, including leadership roles on large-scale ERP implementations
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday data conversion experience, supporting HCM and/or Financials implementations
  • Proven experience supporting reporting design, validation, and reconciliation tied to data conversion efforts
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM data structures and working knowledge of Workday Financials data
  • Hands-on experience with Workday conversion tools (Migration Recipes, Advanced Loads, EIBs, Object Transporter)
  • Experience leading data mapping, reference ID management, load sequencing, and report-based validation
  • Ability to manage dependencies across Data Conversion, Reporting, HCM, and Financials workstreams
  • Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills
  • Active Workday Certification required (HCM, Financials, Data Conversion, Reporting/Prism, and/or Integration)
  • Higher Education and/or Healthcare implementation experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Data Conversion Delivery & Readiness

  • Manage and execute the full data conversion lifecycle for Workday HCM and Financials, from planning through go-live
  • Lead data mapping sessions and oversee transformation and load activities across HCM and Financials functional areas
  • Coordinate tenant builds, conversion cycles, and load sequencing in alignment with the overall project plan
  • Partner closely with functional leads to validate converted data and support testing and remediation
  • Identify, track, and resolve data quality issues; escalate risks and dependencies as needed
  • Guide clients and internal teams on data readiness, cleansing requirements, and conversion timelines
  • Maintain conversion documentation, trackers, and status reporting

Reporting Lead, Design & Enablement

  • Lead reporting design activities by gathering and translating stakeholder reporting requirements into effective reports and dashboard solutions
  • Facilitate and participate in report design sessions, ensuring alignment with conversion decisions, functional design, and downstream analytics needs
  • Lead the development and prioritization of new dashboards, reports, and analytics
  • Oversee report-based validation and reconciliation to ensure converted data supports operational and analytical reporting
  • Guide teams on Workday reporting best practices and available platform capabilities
  • Troubleshoot report-related issues and drive resolution in partnership with functional and technical teams

The estimated base salary range for this job is $145,000 - $170,0000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $174,000 - $204,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
