As an Workday Financials Reporting Consultant, a typical day to include the following:
Successful candidate will be responsible for post-production integration delivery through Strada's Support Desk offer; managing cases and modifications across a breadth of clients and domains. Active listening, good communication, responsiveness, ability to manage multiple tasks and consulting on technical solutions are key attributes for this role.
Within Workday, configures integrations and successfully unit tests requirements, triages issues, identifies process improvements, and develops medium to high complexity reports. Responsible for ensuring timely and quality execution of client deliverables on client requests and Workday projects. Responsible for bodies of work from start to finish across multiple projects or clients with limited supervision. Developing into a subject matter expert internally and externally.
Candidate may work in several U.S. zone hours.
The Role
  • Responsible for the development of advanced custom reports within Workday HCM and/or Financials.
  • Manage the maintenance, design, development, testing, and deployment of custom Workday reports and dashboards in alignment with client requirements.
  • Lead client sessions to analyze business requirements and provide reporting solutions to complex business needs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday reporting & analytics best practices.
  • Executes tasks within projects on time and within Strada quality standards for client deliverables.
  • Continues to specialize and deepen skill set within an area, e.g., such as Reports, Dashboards, HCM, Financials, etc.
  • Develops working relationships with other members of the project team, management and external clients to deliver projects effectively.
  • Has targeted conversations with client in area(s) of focus and provides consultative advice around strategies, risks, and recommendations, applying Strada Point of View and best practice methodology.
  • Conduct prototype and knowledge sharing sessions with client to build their knowledge/understanding of Workday reporting.
  • Manage project resources and monitor project milestones through implementation go-live.
  • Provides guidance internally to less experienced colleagues.
The Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Math Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant Workday reporting experience
  • Able to prioritize and organize increasingly complex work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exhibits problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting issues and escalates as appropriate
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate more complex messages and requirements
  • Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction
  • Working knowledge of BIRT Workday Report Designer tool preferred
  • Workday reporting certified required.
  • Up to 10% travel
  • If not already a holder of the relevant Workday Certification, successful completion of appropriate Workday Certification(s) is a requirement of the role

Salary Pay Range
Minimum - Maximum:
$80,150.00 - $148,850.00
