Job description

SUMMARY:

Work based learning is an educational approach that uses the workplace to provide students with the knowledge and skills to help them connect school experiences to real-life work activities and future career opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Follows and supports all Company Safety policies and procedures
  • Provides support to manager with a range of tasks, including administrative duties as needed
  • Ensures workspace remains safe and clean
  • Stays up to date on all safety procedures
  • Provides assistance in the production area if applicable to your department
  • Works with other department members to provide aid where needed
  • Must adhere to all GMPs

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:

Currently attending high school and in the Work Based Learning program.

Computer and Technology Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office applications a plus but not required

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
