Receptionist
Location: Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab - Lawrenceburg, IN
Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Receptionist to join our skilled nursing facility in Lawrenceburg, IN.
The primary purpose of the Receptionist is to manage answering phones, greeting residents, families, and visitors, and scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner. This position also handles administrative tasks to support daily facility operations.

  • Part-Time
  • Weekends Only
  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Create and post monthly staff schedules, track and post changes, and approve trades in the absence of the DON or as delegated.
  • Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardies, and early arrivals and coordinate daily with Human Resources to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to the DON, Facility Administrator, and management regarding staffing, vacancies, agency use, and other assigned topics.
  • Prepare and submit accurate, complete payroll reports in a timely manner.
  • Verify employment data and background information for job applicants.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
  • Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • COVID-19 vaccine required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hire.
