DSP Coordinator Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to directly coordinate and deliver support services for each individual service recipient at each home, as well as assist with office responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor/Designated Coordinator. The person in this position generally works without direct supervision in the performance of assigned tasks.

DSP Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance, support and supervision to each service recipient.
  • Document and account for all agency and service recipient related finances according to procedures.
  • Assist in completing program schedules according to allotted program hours and ensures staff coverage in coordination with the Supervisor.
  • Assist in scheduling and escort service recipients to medical related appointments and document the visits according to their healthcare plan and ensures that all doctor's orders are followed up on.
  • Communicate any program/service recipient changes or updates to all site staff.
  • Manage routine housekeeping and grounds maintenance.
  • Maintain communication with day program and families.
  • Ensures quality and completion of menu plans, weekend planners, master calendar, daily calendars etc.

DSP Coordinator Job Type and Schedule:

  • Full-time with overtime opportunities
  • Typical Weekly Schedule:

Sunday – Thursday: 2pm-10pm; on-call every 4th weekend

Tuesday – Saturday: 2pm-10pm; on- call every 4th weekend

DSP Coordinator Salary:

  • $20.25 per hour

DSP Coordinator Minimum Requirements Include:

  • A Minimum of One Year of Experience as a DSP, PCA and/or CNA; full-time experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Use of An Insured, Reliable Vehicle
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to pass a MN Background Study
