Role

The VP, DSP Partnerships will be a seasoned and strategic leader who reports into the SVP of Business Development. Based in our New York City office, this person will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team focused on driving significant revenue growth through our strategic partnerships with Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).

Team

The Platform Partnerships team sits between the revenue and R&D organizations, leading the strategic growth & development of global DSP and marketplace relationships. We evaluate market opportunities, sign new integrations, grow and manage existing partnerships that drive liquidity for our publishers and revenue for our exchange business.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and manage strong relationships with key DSP decision-makers, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. 
    • Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships with leading DSPs, maximizing revenue opportunities.
    • Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs. Lead team to build Accounts plans, measure Share of Wallet, run QBRs, and uplevel senior connections to develop strategic opportunities
    • Develop and execute collaborative Partner Business Plans that highlight Triplelift value proposition and innovative offering, establishing monthly/quarterly business reviews to achieve mutual objectives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of DSP business managers,  fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
    • Oversee the Engagement team dedicated to fostering a healthy marketplace with each DSP.
    • Own team revenue numbers and reporting, Set annual, quarterly, and short-term goals and performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Analyze trends and leverage insights to ensure goals are met. Escalate needs to relevant internal stakeholders
    • Ensure the team maintains a deep understanding of the Programmatic landscape and emerging trends.
    • Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to craft GTM strategies for our new offerings to DSPs.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in partnership management within the advertising technology industry.
  • 7+ years of Programmatic experience working with Demand Side Platforms, Supply Side Platforms, exchanges, or other related technology.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing high-impact partnerships with DSPs.
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and DSP technology.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Consultative approach to relationship-building with a drive towards results.
  • A forward-thinking and curious mind that leverages creative problem-solving skills to uncover and develop new ideas and revenue opportunities for the organization.
  • Experience and understanding of programmatic digital advertising: display, CTV, audio and video advertising buying.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
