We are driven by a shared mission to become the Most Loved Lifestyle Brand in the World.

THE ROLE.

The VP, Digital Strategy & Growth is responsible for defining and leading Glossier's enterprise-wide digital growth strategy across owned, earned, and paid digital channels. This leader will shape how digital capabilities, customer experiences, and emerging commerce opportunities drive long-term business growth, customer acquisition, retention, and brand relevance.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the VP, Digital Strategy & Growth will oversee the strategic direction of Glossier's digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment between Digital Commerce, Brand Marketing, Technology, Retail, Wholesale, Product Marketing, and Customer Experience. This role serves as the senior-most digital leader responsible for establishing a unified vision across all digital touchpoints, identifying future growth opportunities, and building the capabilities required to support Glossier's next phase of scale.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, customer-centric thinking, and digital innovation expertise. They are equally comfortable setting long-term strategic direction, influencing executive stakeholders, and building the organizational capabilities necessary to support sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

EXPECTATIONS.
  • Define and lead Glossier's long-term digital strategy, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives, customer priorities, and brand ambitions
  • Develop a cohesive vision for how customers discover, engage with, and purchase from Glossier across all digital touchpoints and channels
  • Identify and evaluate emerging digital commerce opportunities, technologies, platforms, and consumer behaviors that can unlock future growth and competitive advantage
  • Establish enterprise-wide digital growth priorities and investment frameworks, partnering with executive leadership to determine resource allocation and strategic initiatives
  • Lead the evolution of Glossier's omnichannel customer experience strategy, ensuring a connected experience across Retail, Wholesale, Digital Commerce, Social Commerce, Customer Experience, and Loyalty touchpoints
  • Partner with Technology leadership to define the digital capability roadmap, including platform modernization, customer data strategy, personalization capabilities, and future-state digital infrastructure
  • Champion customer-centric decision making across the organization by leveraging customer insights, behavioral data, and market trends to inform strategic priorities
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for digital transformation initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, customer engagement, and commercial performance
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Creative leadership to ensure digital innovation supports and enhances Glossier's brand positioning while driving measurable business impact
  • Develop executive-level reporting and performance frameworks that provide visibility into the health, effectiveness, and growth potential of the broader digital ecosystem
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Commercial, Brand, Retail, Wholesale, Technology, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and execution
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital leadership team while fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
  • Represent the voice of digital within the executive leadership team, ensuring digital opportunities and risks are incorporated into broader business planning and decision making
  • Stay ahead of industry trends across digital commerce, AI, customer engagement, marketplaces, social commerce, retail technology, and emerging consumer behaviors to ensure Glossier remains innovative and competitive
KEY INGREDIENTS.

We know you're here to do great work, raise the bar, and make a meaningful impact, and we're here for that, too. While there's no single path to success, we've found that the key ingredients below set the foundation for doing your best work, thriving in the role, and ultimately making it your own (i.e. successfully bringing this formula to life).

  • 15+ years of leadership experience across digital, commerce, marketing, customer experience, or related functions within beauty, retail, consumer products, or high-growth consumer brands
  • Proven track record of developing and executing enterprise-level digital growth strategies that drive meaningful business impact
  • Experience leading large-scale digital transformation, omnichannel customer experience, or digital capability-building initiatives
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate growth opportunities, investment decisions, and long-term business outcomes
  • Demonstrated success leading senior teams and developing high-performing leaders across multiple disciplines
  • Deep understanding of evolving digital ecosystems, including commerce, marketplaces, social platforms, customer engagement technologies, data strategy, personalization, and emerging technologies
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across all levels of an organization
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect customer insights, market trends, and business objectives into actionable plans
