Position Summary
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Days: Monday - Friday
The Digital Transformation Intern will support a strategic AI initiative focused on improving financial processes through automation, emerging technologies, and workflow optimization. This role will work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, IT, and external partners to help identify business needs, gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and assist in implementing an AI-driven use case.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to digital transformation initiatives and real-world AI implementation within a collaborative business environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and AI enablement
  • Gather and document business requirements, workflows, pain points, and operational needs
  • Research AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging technologies relevant to finance operations
  • Support the evaluation, testing, and implementation of AI solutions or proof-of-concepts
  • Coordinate with internal teams, third-party consultants, vendors, and development partners as needed
  • Assist with project tracking, meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up activities
  • Help develop process maps, use case documentation, and solution recommendations
  • Participate in solution testing, user feedback collection, and implementation support
  • Present findings, progress updates, and recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong interest in AI, automation, digital transformation, and process improvement
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and navigating ambiguous problem-solving scenarios
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools preferred
  • Exposure to AI platforms, low-code/no-code tools, or workflow automation technologies is a plus
