Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose: Responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, identifying opportunities for digital transformation, and supporting the implementation of digital initiatives under the guidance of experienced professionals.   • Identify and analyze opportunities for digital transformation within manufacturing, engineering, and operations processes.
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of digital initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in digital transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative solutions.
  • Assist in the development of business cases for digital projects.
  • Create and present reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support the change management process associated with digital transformation initiatives.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business engineering, IT or in a related field
  • Fully bilingual

Work Experience desired

  • Experience in working with data
  • Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and operations processes
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies (e.g., IoT, data analytics, automation)
