Job Summary Description:

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Union Laborer. Projects primarily consist of civil construction, earthwork, and underground utilities including sanitary, storm and waterline projects. We are looking for hard-working individuals that are interested in growing within our company. This position is for a diligent individual that can work with a crew to get each job done at an efficient rate.

Under the direction of the crew foreman, the Laborer will conduct all daily routine activities associated with trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

  1. Assisting with Pipe Installation: Laborers are responsible for assisting in the installation of CIPP liners into existing pipes. This may involve physically handling materials, equipment, and tools, as well as following proper installation procedures.
  2. Preparing Work Area: Laborers should help prepare the work area before starting the installation process. This may include clearing debris, setting up barriers or safety equipment, and ensuring the area is safe for work.
  3. Operating Equipment: Depending on the specific job requirements, laborers may be tasked with operating equipment such as pumps, generators, or curing equipment used in the CIPP process. Proper training and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
  4. Material Handling: Laborers are often responsible for transporting materials to and from the work site. This may involve loading and unloading trucks, organizing materials on-site, and ensuring that the necessary supplies are readily available.
  5. Assisting Crew Members: Laborers work closely with other members of the construction crew, including technicians, supervisors, and engineers. They may be required to assist with various tasks as needed, such as mixing resins, conducting quality control checks, or monitoring equipment.

  • Ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
  • Required to work in extreme work environments, conditions, and confined spaces.
  • Position requires fit physical condition.
  • One to two years of experience as laborer in construction projects/public utilities (preferred).
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with safe driving record
