Job Title: Field Laborer
Location: Atlanta (based in Louisiana)
Department: Field Operations
Employment Type: FT/PT/Seasonal
FLSA: Non-exempt
Job Summary
The Field Laborer performs general labor and support duties at construction and project sites. This position assists crews with material handling, site preparation, equipment setup, cleanup, and other tasks necessary to support safe and efficient project completion. The Field Laborer works under direct supervision and follows all company safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with project site setup and cleanup.
  • Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare work areas for construction, installation, maintenance, or repair activities.
  • Assist skilled trades personnel and field crews as directed.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites.
  • Remove debris and dispose of waste materials properly.
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and inventory materials.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Reporting unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment concerns supervisors immediately.
  • Support project teams in meeting production schedules and quality standards.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Construction or general labor experience is a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively on a team.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment preferred.
