Job description

Job Title: Plumber Apprentice / Laborer
Location: Sun Valley, California (Los Angeles County)
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Plumbing
Reports To: Master Plumber Technician / Foreman

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Plumber Apprentice / Laborer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing trade, working alongside experienced professionals on residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems

  • Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites

  • Perform basic labor tasks such as digging trenches, cutting and fitting pipes, and cleaning up job sites

  • Learn to read blueprints and technical drawings

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

  • Communicate effectively with team members, plumber tech and supervisors

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Prior construction or plumbing experience is a plus but not required

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn

  • Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious

  • Enrollment or willingness to enroll in a registered plumbing apprenticeship program (as required)
