Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Olds (John Deere) location. This position is responsible for assisting in the agriculture service department. Duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning agricultural equipment and the shop, and working with technicians. The labourer will play a key role in assisting the other personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity. This position is an entry point for someone interested in pursuing an apprenticeship.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Detailing agricultural equipment once the repairs have been completed
  • Maintaining the wash bay equipment and the cleanliness of the wash bay
  • Cleaning parts and components
  • Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop
  • Assisting in the dismantling of heavy equipment and components
  • Organizing equipment in the yard and maintaining dealership premises (grading, leveling snow removal)
  • Some inventory maintenance
  • Assisting the other shop personnel with fulfilling their duties and increase overall shop productivity
  • Other duties as assigned
