JOB SUMMARY:

The Concrete Laborer supports concrete demolition and installation activities including flatwork, curbs, equipment pads, and slab‑on‑grade placements. Some work will follow plans and specifications, while other tasks are laid out and field‑engineered by the Foreman. This role assists with forming, reinforcement, placement, finishing, cleanup, and masonry support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with site prep and demolition of existing materials.
  • Support forming, rebar installation, and concrete placement.
  • Perform tasks based on plans or field layout direction from the Foreman.
  • Operate small tools such as demo saws, compactors, and mixers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
  • Assist with masonry tasks such as mixing mortar or staging materials.
  • Support backfilling, compaction, and post‑pour cleanup.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic understanding of concrete tools and equipment.
  • Ability to take direction and learn new skills.
  • Good work ethic and communication skills.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ year concrete labor experience.
