Position Summary
Responsible for a broad range of strategic, operational, and administrative duties to include owning the Learning Management System (LMS) content, functionality, and use, oversight for training development, and creating a structure to ensure qualification and certification of known and emerging requirements supports the growth within PROENERGY Services. This oversight includes internal and external training, Health amp; Safety (H amp;S), technical training, and compliance programs. This position is required to help create and then deliver training related functions throughout the business.

Position Responsibilities
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensuring training department and programs directly support organizational goals and business needs both internally and externally.
  • Needs Assessment: Identifying skill gaps through surveys, performance evaluations, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Operational Management: Scheduling training sessions, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and managing technical trainers.
  • Curriculum Development amp; Improvement: Drive the development and improvement in curriculum either through in-house development or partnering with other organizations. This may require existing or development of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) knowledge in support of in-house curriculum development.
  • Safety amp; Compliance: Working with the H amp;S and compliance team, ensure all OHSA, NERC, and other required training is available and established in qualifications within the LMS.
  • Program Management: Oversee and administer the LMS (Vector) in support of various departments. This includes internal training on Vector’s LMS, automatic input of new employees, training budgets, manage vendor relationships for specialized services, and tracking employee certification and qualifications.
  • Technical Instruction: Lead hands-on demonstrations and classroom sessions covering power generation systems, rotating machinery, manufacturing processes, troubleshooting methodologies and more.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with other PROENERGY groups to fully utilize the LMS to support closing emerging skill gaps and align training with operational and business goals.
  • Evaluation: Measuring program effectiveness using metrics and participant feedback to calculate return on investment (ROI).
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related experience.
  • Experience: Significant experience in companywide training, power generation or industrial maintenance:
    • Minimum of 5 years in administering in an (LMS), such a Vector.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Candidate must also pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check and pre-employment drug screen.
