The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles' third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. Sr Associate, Seating Bowl Analyst:

The Ticketing department is responsible for developing a robust Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Ticket Operations strategy for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This encompasses maximizing revenue through sold-out and fully attended events, while ensuring accessible pricing and broad access to the General Public. 

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Ticketing Strategy & Implementation for LA28, the Sr Associate, Seating Bowl Analyst will act as the internal ticketing point of contact for a subset of venues for the Seating Bowl Working Group (SBWG), a cross-functional group that focuses on maximizing revenue and attendance for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This role will be responsible for the management of our contractual ticket allotments, holds, accredited seating areas, and allocation of inventory for sales phases.  In addition, this role will serve as a project manager for the SBWG, setting meetings, managing agendas, and creating and maintaining project plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Seating Bowl Strategy & Design 

  • Manage, update, and review space allocation for ticketed and accredited zones 
  • Develop seat maps based on venue and ticketing information 
  • Understand and keep ticketing team updated on all operational seat kills 
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders for broadcast and press accredited seating and areas 
  • Plan and review ticketed and accredited numbers based on past Games 
  • Review spectator flows from ticket scanning to entering seating bowl 
  • Recommend opportunities to maximize revenue, and illustrate optimal scenarios for LA28 ticketing strategies 

 Project Management 

  • Set agendas for seating bowl meetings 
  • Maintain master schedule and timeline for seating bowl projects and sub-workstreams, and understand integration with other FA timelines and needed deliverables 
  • Help manage cross-functional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders 

 Cross-Functional Collaboration  

  • Establish close working relationships with key functional areas (especially Venues & Infrastructure, Event Venue Management, and Sport) to ensure the ticketing strategy maximizes revenue opportunities while supporting the overall Games strategy 

Other 

  • Help develop innovative venue design proposals 
  • Ensure strong ticketing contingency planning based on identified risks 
  • Provide input into Venue Design Book process 
  • Assist in building seat maps for the ticketing system 
Background & Requirements:
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant industry experience including working with manifest development, inventory management, and ticketing operations 
  • Fluent working with Office suite products including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to derive insights from data / analytics / research and present findings to all levels of an organization  
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills  
  • Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills 
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues 
  • Familiarity with tools such as Forma (ACC), Adobe Illustrator, and Tableau preferred 
  • Bachelor's Degree Required 

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000-98,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
