Job description

Our client, a global media company, is looking for a temporary Payroll Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Midtown. The successful candidate will have payroll processing experience within a large corporation, knowledge of union payroll processing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview:
  • Contract Role: 6 months (budgeted until year-end)
  • Pay: $43-47/hr on W2 (NO C2C)
  • Schedule: Fully onsite M-F, 9AM to 6PM
Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end processing of multi-frequency union and non-union payrolls
  • Perform payroll adjustments in SAP
  • Reconcile and audit HR and payroll data
  • Set up of employee garnishments
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolving discrepancies
  • Provide support for periodic tax updates
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
  • Experience working in the entertainment industry with knowledge of union/guild payroll processing a plus
  • Microsoft Excel expertise (pivot tables, formulas, queries, etc.)
  • SAP EC Payroll is highly desired
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and communication skills
