Description:

The Temporary Payroll Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day processing of payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role assists with the preparation and submission of required payroll and tax filings and helps maintain accurate records of payroll-related activity during a defined coverage period. This is a temporary position intended to provide payroll support on an interim basis.

Requirements:

• Support the day-to-day administration of the payroll system.

• Assist with the preparation and review of routine payroll and tax reconciliations.

• Help ensure compliance with applicable federal and local tax and regulatory reporting requirements and guidelines.

• Prepare and distribute payroll reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• Assist in reviewing existing payroll policies, procedures, and processes as directed by the Director, HR Systems and Payroll.

• Maintain clear communication within the department and promptly flag any problems or queries to the Assistant Financial Controller.
