Job description

The Recruitment Coordinator fully owns the hiring process: moving candidates thorough the recruitment process to onboard new hires. This position is the hub of our recruiting operations and will be an integral part of the candidate experience. Works closely with the Recruitment team, hiring managers and candidates in a high-volume environment. Due to the nature of critical and sensitive information, records, and reports this position handles, these tasks are completed while maintaining high standards of confidentiality.
Description of Essential Job Functions
  • Review and process offer letters for internal and external prospective employees, ensuring appropriate offer language is used based on position, department, and pay-bands; obtains appropriate approval on offers letters prior to disbursement; ensures timely receipt of signed offer letters and appropriate upload within online Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Creates and distributes weekly and ad hoc recruiting reports related to requisition activity, employee referrals, pending starts as well as any additional reporting requests from Talent Acquisition to support recruiting operations and compliance tracking.
  • Manages the background and reference check process for prospective employees; processes pre-employment background checks through online third party, acting as main point of contact between candidate and third party; monitors progress to ensure completion, answering questions and troubleshooting; escalates issues to direct manager and maintains background check log for consistency.
  • Tracks, manages, and ensures all proper approvals are obtained for temporary contingent employees placed by temporary staffing agencies; approves temporary agency invoices.
  • Maintains the job profile/job ad templates in the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); works closely with the Talent Acquisition team reconciling any compliance issues.

Education/Experience/Certification/Licensure
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in professional corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) required.
  • Experience working with Workday preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, HRMS, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Always maintain confidentiality, multi-task, use discretion and independent judgement, work in a team environment, pay close attention to detail, adapt and flex to a changing environment.

Compensation
The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 Hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

This position is not bonus-eligible.
