Thank you for your interest in Variable-Hour (Temporary/Seasonal) employment with the City of Charlottesville!
While many of these positions support Parks & Recreation programs and facilities, opportunities may also arise in other departments such as Charlottesville Area Transit, Public Works and more. Whether you're assisting with summer camps, completing an internship, maintaining public spaces, or helping prepare for special events, you'll be supporting essential City services during peak seasonal periods. These roles are classified as temporary/seasonal, variable-hour positions and are not eligible for City benefits.
