LHH is partnering with a company that is searching for a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to assist for the next few months. Your main responsibilities will be processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner. The manager is looking for someone who has a strong background in AP and who can contribute with minimal training. Previous experience on an ERP system is required, and you need to be comfortable navigating through Microsoft Excel quickly. This position offers a quick interview process for a fully onsite role in north Lynnwood, WA. Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and respond to internal and external AP inquiries
- Prepare and execute weekly/monthly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
- Maintain accurate AP records, support month-end close, and assist with audits as needed
- Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure invoices are paid according to agreed payment terms
Qualifications:
- At least five years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume or multi-vendor environment
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks)
- Able to self-manage and jump in quickly with limited instruction
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues
Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
