Junior Accountant| $22-$27/hr | Omaha, NE |Hybrid | Temp-to-Hire

Looking to grow your accounting career beyond just one function? This role gives you hands-on experience across accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll support, and general accounting while working alongside an established team that will help you continue developing your skills.

What You’ll Do:
  • Keep day-to-day accounting moving by processing accounts payable and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Reconcile credit card activity and research discrepancies to keep accounts clean and organized
  • Serve as a backup for payroll and assist with employee timekeeping and payroll-related needs
  • Support the accounting team with month-end activities, reporting, and general accounting projects
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 2+ years previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience
  • Comfortable working with reconciliations, financial transactions, and detailed accounting information
  • Basic payroll experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sorting and organizing data
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
