Job description

We're seeking a Telecom Coordinator to support telecom services, mobile device management, and IT operations across a nationwide organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, technology, and providing excellent internal customer support. This is an onsite role with an outstanding company. (Full-time, contract assignment)
Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve telecom service requests through the ticketing system.
  • Process new phone requests, transfers, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Coordinate device ordering, delivery, activation, and vendor communications.
  • Maintain telecom equipment inventory, user records, and documentation.
  • Manage purchasing card transactions and expense reporting.
  • Test hardware and software supporting the telecom environment.
  • Conduct audits of telecom, network, and mobile services.
  • Partner with IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot and escalate issues.
  • Assist with telecom and mobility cost reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
  • Experience with telecom, mobility, or IT support preferred.
  • Understanding of telecom technologies including 4G LTE, 5G, POTS, SIP, WAN, and T1 preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to supporting internal stakeholders and vendors.
