Job description

We are seeking a dependable Assistant Security Director to support daily security operations within a fast-paced retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leadership, customer service, operational excellence, and building strong relationships with both clients and security personnel.

As the Assistant Security Director, you will partner closely with site leadership to help oversee security operations, support officer performance, maintain a safe environment for customers and staff, and ensure all expectations are consistently met.

Shift: Friday-Tuesday 1pm-9pm - Sunday's hours are 10am-6pm

Location: Burlington, MA 

Salary: $57,845.00/yearly 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of retail security operations. 
  • Support scheduling, staffing, payroll, and coverage needs. 
  • Help supervise, coach, and develop security personnel. 
  • Ensure officers maintain professionalism, strong customer service, and compliance with post orders. 
  • Conduct floor presence, site inspections, and performance observations. 
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and documentation. 
  • Respond to escalated situations and support emergency response efforts when needed. 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives and store leadership. 
  • Support training for new security officers. 
  • Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of security supervision or management experience
  • Experience managing large teams
  • Familiarity with payroll/timekeeping systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage routine operations effectively
