Job description

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company that strives to create a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to join our team as a Resilience Officer. You will be working on a variety of tasks and projects under the guidance of the Shift Supervisors and Area Managers for our top clients. As a Resilience Officer (RO), you will act as an ambassador for Surefox and its clients while being responsible for and ensuring the overall safety and security of our client's employees and property. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: access control, employee and guest engagement and verification measures, customer service level support and assistance, active patrolling and monitoring of client facilities, and responding to medical and non-medical emergency events.
Additionally, you will be expected to keep detailed notes throughout any incident you are a part of and will be asked to compile these notes with your coworkers to create an incident report after the fact. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail as well as being highly dependable. To be successful in this position, you must be able to handle the physical demands of the role and the activity required as part of the static or foot patrol responsibilities of the various positions. An RO will also be expected to provide top-tier customer service when interacting with personnel on our client campuses and will be expected to have great communication skills. Additionally, you must be able to engage with a variety of individuals as part of your daily routine while ensuring that you are maintaining a professional and respectful interaction.

What you will do:
โ€ข Provide access control operations, including verifying proper ID and credentials. This is a
standing post.
โ€ข Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations
on-site.
โ€ข Liaise with first responder personnel if and when there is an emergency.
โ€ข Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances
and exits.
โ€ข Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company
property.
โ€ข Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
โ€ข Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors
and clients in a professional manner.
โ€ข Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level
of attentiveness and energy.
What is required:
โ€ข Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
โ€ข Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
โ€ข Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
โ€ข Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
โ€ข Must have or be in the process of obtaining a current guard card.
โ€ข Must have or be in the process of attaining a CPR/ First aid certification from a
recognized certification authority.
โ€ข Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
โ€ข Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
โ€ข Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
โ€ข Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
โ€ข Ability to work independently and as a team member.
What is desired:

โ€ข Security or law enforcement related experience preferred
