Job description

Responsibilities
The Resilience Officer is expected to think outside of the box with creativity, new ideas, and develop resiliency requirements related to emerging threats that can cause COOP events. While working with and receiving input from various SMEs, they produce COOP documents with a clear style of writing, avoiding any rhetoric, jargon, or overly technical language that may confuse readers.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the customer's ability to continue operations under any circumstances, by coordinating facility preparedness, component readiness, and implementation of continuity plans.
Support activation and execution of continuity operations, provide guidance during continuity events, monitor and report on status of continuity operations and coordinate with mission resilience program manager on SOP implementation.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with relevant polygraph
  • Eight (8) years of experience with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (business, engineering, or other related technical discipline) or six (6) years of experience with a master's degree
  • Five (5) years of professional IC experience is required, and three (3) or more years must be directly related to continuity of operations business analytical experience
  • Four (4) years of additional Military/Civilian, DoD/Government, or IC Continuity experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree
  • Experience in core competencies in preparing and managing action items resultant of Business Continuity Plan(s), and training, or other equivalent training through Military/Civilian DoD/Government agencies

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
